Sales Increased in May for SINOTRUK

As revealed by SINOTRUK itself, the company sees manufacturing and sales data substantially increased in May.


Data show 7600 heavy duty trucks were produced, a month on month rise of 49%, a year on year reduction of 18%; a total of 38203 of heavy duty trucks were produced in the first five months.

 

8764 heavy duty trucks were sold in May, a month on month increase of 43%, a year on year increase of 16%; a total of 32154 were sold in the first five months.

 


The heavy duty truck market is performing satisfactorily as the economy is getting better and more investments are going to infrastructure segment. SINOTRUK It is believed that 28% more heavy duty trucks are sold so far than in last year.


 But, the future for heavy duty truck market is still not that clear as the economy is seemingly weakening again with real estate market losing its vitality.

 

But, SINOTRUK as more trucks are due to retire, there is hope that the market could be stimulated as a result. Consulting companies say a heavy duty truck could work for 5-6 years on average.
